Since April, I have been planning on mounting the fan from the gobbler I killed. At first, the thought of using a taxidermist deemed to be the reasonable thing to do, but the more I researched, I figured why not give it a shot. Carrington explained how to design the beard and spur pendant, and I designed the board from a ancient piece of heart pine that held a beautiful, deep grain character. I haven't had time to groom the feathers yet, but I thought I'd go ahead and share my new trophy. -Will
